- Are You Pressing ON or Pressing IN? (1 of 4 )
A close look at one person who dared to go beyond human perseverance to encounter the miraculous healing power of God.
- Choose Where You Will Stand (2 of 6)
When satan comes and tempts you, use the Word like Jesus did. Satan offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world because they were his to give. We are always offered the world, the world's way. We need to choose God's way, His Word. How can we be wise and make the most of opportunities if we don't know the difference between the two kingdoms - Heaven or the world?
- Do His Will
Kathleen discusses how we live our faith. Hearing and understanding is not enough - faith without works is dead.
- Empty Yourself (12/12/11)
Jesus emptied Himself to become man in order to save you, understand you, free you from fear of death, and to show us how to empty ourselves.
- Establishing Your Spiritual Location/Foundation
Your choices determine which kingdom you will live in while you are here on earth.
- For This Purpose
Jesus had authority and power. A miracle reconfirms Jesus' authority. Jesus heals Simon's mother-in-law who has a fever. We are to imitate Christ, even as shown through His miracles.
- God's Investment Plan
How do you make the big decisions in your life? Kathleen discusses God's plan for these important times.

If we want to become more like Jesus, what steps do we need to take? Kathleen talks about how we can become more like the person God intended us to be.
- God's Way To Personal Permanent Change - Part 3
Jesus has paid the price for you, but your ticket to enter freedom is one of humility.
- Hear Him, Follow Him (Part 1)
We won't listen to a stranger's voice. Make more room for Him in our hearts, lives. He cares about the little things. Learn how to attune your ears to hear the voice of God. We need to be quenched with the Word. The Word not only quenches, heals, fills; it is also the voice of God for every situation.
- How God Speaks, Part 3 (6 of 10)
God won't talk to us about certain matters unless He knows we will be obedient because He doesn't set us up for failure. Anytime God reveals something to you or puts you in a situation, it's because He sets you up to succeed, even if it is a difficult trial. God does speak to us. What God has shown Kathleen is that you don't have to understand it, you just have to agree because God is God and you are not. That opens our hearts to be obedient to Him. The Spirit is always talking, but not everyone is listening. If we are willing to obey, He will give us more and more truth, joy and love.
- How You Can Become A Keeper Of the Way
Denying yourself takes more than humility. How to apply what you learn and love others like Jesus did and what that looks like in your every day life.
- Jesus, The Word in Action (Part 2)
Kathleen discusses the powerful desires of God for us, accomplished through Jesus.
- Listen Up (3 of 10)
You may be saying, I want to obey, but how do I know if I have heard from God or what God is telling me? To answer this, Kathleen starts by talking about how we learn to recognize God's voice. We recognize the voice of those we spend the most time with. A child can pick out his mother's voice because he has heard her voice all his life and has spent so much time with her. The best place to hear the clearest voice of God is in the Word of God. The more of God we get into our heart, the more we recognize His voice. That is why the enemy doesn't want you in the Word. It is where life is, and it is where you discover who you really are. The Bible says our life is hidden in Jesus Christ. And Jesus Christ is the Word.
- Living In The Spirit (11/28/11)
It has been said, “To be disappointed in yourself is to have believed in yourself.” Think about that. Do you believe in yourself? Or do you believe in God? Kathleen discusses concepts vital to our spiritual life, in which God increases in us, and we decrease.
- Living Joyfully (11/14/11)
Kathleen discusses how to live joyfully in the midst of anxiety, uncertainty, chronic pain and the continuing challenges of this world.
- Love Is Not Easily Angered Part 3
The religious leaders tried to provoke Jesus' anger. In one instance, the Pharisees brought an adulteress to Jesus and asked Him to convict her. When Jesus wrote in the sand, He was showing them how He bought time and prayed before responding to the accusers and the woman. We often get in trouble when we answer too quickly. Most of us are slow to listen, quick to speak, and quick to anger. Although they were trying to trap Him into either saying that scripture was wrong about Moses or letting the adulteress off the hook, He responded by saying "he who is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone." That simple statement was so convicting that everyone left except the accused woman and Jesus. The number one lesson we should learn from this is to take our time and answer slowly.
- Love Is Not Rude
How to be clothed in love and kindness and uncover rudeness in all its forms.
- Love Keeps No Record Of Wrongs (part 2 of 3)
God will remember our sins no more. We are not the black sheep of the Christian family. When He looks at us, He sees us as purified by the blood of Jesus. He is not keeping score. We should be an iimitator of Jesus. Walk in love the way Jesus loves us. Do and think as God does. We can only do this with the help of the Holy Spirit. The biggest thing is to not keep a record of wrongs. We need to get rid of those things that God tells us to get rid of. God calls us to a life of freedom, not one where we are always collecting debts. God's forgiveness is His biggest demonstration of love. We should do likewise. Forgive others like we want to be forgiven. We may need to be honest with God and ask Him for help in putting a hurt away. Forgiveness brings life and frees us from the law of sin and death. Unforgiveness can mean death of relationships, of creativity, and even death to our body. We need to put aside any excuses we have for unforgiveness and ask God to cleanse our thoughts and hearts.
- Love Not Like (5 of 6)
Learn how to forgive and love even those whom you may not like.
- No Worries (2 of 7)
What do I do that forfeits the promised "land of rest"? RE: Israelites-we are delivered from our bondage to sin and then we are entered into a time of testing before that promised land of rest. We will praise Him while we can see His works, but then we doubt Him during time of testing and go into unbelief. What causes me to NOT believe? Land of rest NOT dependent on circumstances, He PROMISES us a rest.
- Responding In Belief - Part 1 (7 of 10)
We need to know how God speaks and how to attune our spirits to hear Him. Beyond that we need to respond. Slow obedience is like no obedience because timing is important with God. Our response should be to believe God regardless of the circumstances.
- Responding In Belief - Part 2 (8 of 10)
Some people gain hope or loose hope depending upon their circumstances. But when you believe in God, you never loose hope. That’s because God never changes even though the circumstances do. It says in the book of Hebrews that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). So God is always loving, always faithful, always doing miracles, always willing to help us. God however is moved by faith, not by need. We may not like that, but that’s what we see all through the Word of God. He is moved by compassion because He loves us, but faith is what he looks for from us because it is a child thing, Daddy I believe you! So our response is no matter what I see, no matter what I hear, or no matter what I feel I believe in God. Knowing God and responding in belief will change the outcome of our circumstances in life..
- The Choice (2 of 10)
Obeying has nothing to do with feelings. But when you open the door to obeying God and forget about yourself, smile, and rejoice, the residual is that you always feel better. You need to get the Word in your heart so that it comes out of your mouth and you can obey.
- The Relationship (10/17/11)
Christianity is about the Person of Jesus. We are made (by God, Our Creator) to know Him through the Person of Jesus (His Son.)
Any approach we make toward God (with a true heart to want to know Him) He rewards.
- The Secret Revealed (1 of 10)
The answer to what the secret is - Obedience. How many of you would have been excited if Kathleen said she was going to teach a minimum of 4 weeks on Obedience?! Unfortunately, the word "obedience" is distasteful to most of us, even though we want it from our children. It's interesting that Isaiah 1:19 says that "If you are obedient you will eat the good of the land." So who made "obedience" a distasteful word? The enemy! Isaiah says we will have the best in our life; but to us today, the word sounds so stoic plus it brings conviction. We don't want to hear it! When we look at some of the good results of obedience, most of us would be excited to be obedient to God.
- What Are You Seeking?
Deep in your heart, what do you treasure most? Do you know where to find it. Most of us are seeking the unknown. Seek Him Who wants to be known.
- What Does It Mean To Carry My Cross? (3 of 4)
What is our cross? LOVE. Love God. Love others. Which means dying to self, giving up your own rights: The cross, where our will crosses God's will. Being a Believer does NOT mean that we are part of a "Bless Me" Club, but rather a part of God's LOVE. True LOVE always involves personal sacrifice. Love is a willingness to die.
- When God's Will Is An Inconvenience (1 of 4)
Most of the time, an inconvenience has to do with our neighbor. God's will: Love the Lord your God. Love your neighbor as yourself. When we're inconvenienced and our will doesn't line up with God's will, most of the time it has to do with ours. Compassion always means action. It is not pity; pity will look and turn away. Compassion is an action word. Don't be afraid to be inconvenienced.
